Privacy Policy

Mortgage King LLC (“Mortgage King,” “we,” “us”) uses this public website to provide mortgage education, planning tools, a limited preliminary pre-qualification experience, contact/routing services and secure handoffs to our mortgage application system.

Information you choose to provide

Depending on the feature, you may provide approximate mortgage questions, calculator inputs, Instant Pre-Qual questionnaire information, borrower/co-borrower name, phone/email before a Pre-Qual result, property state/ZIP and Loan Expert preference, and limited source/UTM information associated with a high-intent interaction.

Do not submit Social Security numbers, dates of birth, bank/account numbers, passwords, government ID numbers, complete credit reports, employer names, property street addresses or financial documents through Mortgage King AI, the Mortgage Calculator or Instant Pre-Qual.

Mortgage King AI

Mortgage King AI sends your mortgage question and a limited amount of recent conversation context through Mortgage King’s server to the OpenAI API so a response can be generated. Mortgage King does not intentionally create a persistent public borrower profile from AI conversations. The public model does not independently browse the open web.

OpenAI API data handling is governed by applicable OpenAI service terms and data controls. Mortgage King does not represent that third-party API processing has absolute zero retention unless an applicable approved control is actually in place.

Mortgage Calculator

Ordinary calculator math may be performed in your browser or through Mortgage King’s server calculation service. Planning estimates for property taxes, homeowners insurance, mortgage insurance and HOA may be populated from controlled planning data and can be changed by the consumer. Calculator scenario values are not intentionally written to a borrower database or included in routine Loan Expert activity emails.

Instant Pre-Qual

Instant Pre-Qual sends permitted approximate questionnaire/contact values securely to Mortgage King’s server for transient validation and calculation. Phone/email are collected before any result is displayed. Raw income, debt, credit-range, major-event, first-time-buyer and other financial questionnaire values are not intentionally persisted to a public borrower database and are not included in Loan Expert activity emails.

If a positive preliminary result is issued, Mortgage King may send the assigned Loan Expert the limited contact/result notification described on the website. If the tool returns “A Licensed Review Is Needed,” viewing the result does not automatically send a Licensed Review request; that limited request is sent only if you choose to talk with your Loan Expert and accept the follow-up consent.

Limited site activity information

During the current session, Mortgage King may keep limited non-sensitive activity flags such as whether you used AI, Calculator, Instant Pre-Qual, Apply or Upload. Authorized high-intent notifications may include limited sanitized source/activity information. Raw AI transcripts and raw financial questionnaire answers are excluded.

Email notification and temporary retry queue

If business-email delivery is temporarily unavailable, a small protected retry queue may temporarily retain only the limited approved notification payload. It does not contain the raw financial questionnaire and is configured for hard deletion after 24 hours if undelivered.

Official application and documents

Mortgage King’s public site does not accept mortgage document files. Complete personal information, credit authorization, financial documents and the official mortgage application are handled through Jupiter/MyMortgageApp or another approved secure mortgage system.

Cookies and local/session storage

The website may use essential session storage/cookies needed for security, routing and temporary tool state. It does not intentionally use advertising pixels, retargeting pixels, cross-site behavioral advertising trackers or session-replay software.

Aggregate product and performance measurement

Mortgage King may maintain privacy-minimized first-party aggregate counters for page/tool starts and completions, result types, clicks, errors, performance and allow-listed aggregate source/UTM counts. Names, phone numbers, emails, raw AI messages, raw financial answers, income, debts, credit information and document information are intentionally excluded.

Information sharing

Mortgage King may share information with the selected/assigned Mortgage King Loan Expert for an authorized inquiry, with OpenAI as needed to generate an AI response, with Jupiter/MyMortgageApp when you choose the secure workflow, with service providers needed to operate the site, and when required or permitted by law. Mortgage King does not sell personal information collected through this public website for advertising and does not share nonpublic personal information for nonaffiliate marketing, affiliate marketing or joint marketing.

Security

Mortgage King uses reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the public website architecture, including HTTPS, server-side secrets, input validation, access controls and data minimization. No internet system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children

Mortgage King’s mortgage services and public tools are not directed to children.

Changes and contact

Mortgage King may update this Privacy Policy as the website, law or service providers change.
